Manufacturing in the mid-west is way down. Some down 50% from last year and last was not as good as the year previous. That is what angered me about the last hike, we were slowing and the pace was quickening. Layoff's in the building trades here for the first time in 7 years.

We were growing at 5% to 7%. Now growing at 3%. This does not mean we are headed towards a recession. Lets be honest.
Zoltan is afraid that Bush will get the blame for an economic slowdown so he lets his political views get in the way of economic analysis.
