bambs, I just disagree with your assessment of what the economy will be doing. I think there has been overeaction in the past.
Now in addition,the FED acknowledges they have to be cautious.

People want to buy up (smart money) when the earnings picture is not so great and the companies have warned already. Combine that with a less hawkish FED, and you get a rally.

I think we are heading towards Nasdaq 3800 in a matter of weeks. My reason is that election uncertainty pulled more money out of this market than it otherwise would have. That is why I think it won't break 4000 that easily.
