Elmer, re: Greenspan He talked about the slowing economy, lack of liquidity, stock pullback as it relates to decreased consumer and business investment, the death of many Internut companies, lots of other bad things. My take is that he is signaling at least a neutral bias at the 12/19 meeting. If we are lucky, maybe a rate cut. Markets rallied on the news. MHO, looks like we might have turned a corner on the bear, not that I expect a huge rally, but we may have seen the bottom. John
