I think that selection was based on GW's library of gaffes. You also gotta admit, more than a few GW supporters of Forrest Gump's IQ level were passing retrofitted Quayleisms, genuinely believing Gore had said 'em. It's all academic now anyway. Honorable mention for the list: "Fight Club," "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Election" (GW fans who remember that movie MMMMWorld will fondly recall the secret to winning the prize was a set of palms that together formed a giant W)
