i think that's the biggest one-day rise ever in percentage terms. not the first time we're seeing this in 2000. we had the nine strongest up days ever, all occurring in the course of the NAZ denouement.

I think the bounce in April was close to the same magnitude -- have to go back and check -- April 5 or 6th??

April 4 had bottom of 3649 on the ^IXIC and a top of 4283

17% intraday swing ... I think that is a "recent record" -- i.e. this mania
