Anything short of 10% is totally unacceptable--just kidding

I read greenspan piece and i can understand why the market is up. It amazes me that some thought he has his head in the sand. He is far from perfect but the best we have at this. He overshot perhaps but one could make the case that without the oil/middle east crisis and without the tie in the presidential election, the market would have bottomed in the low 3000's and that the rally a couple of months ago to the low 4000's might have held. He would have had to be Karac to know that the mideast talks would degenerate into shooting and the presidential election would be a tie. So here he is to save the day, "Mighty Al". Let's hope that this bud can still be nipped.
