Hi Ron: I was impressed with the knowledge of the photo industry of a previous poster whose opinion was that the developed nations were rapidly converting to digital. However, I agree completely with your thoughts about less developed nations. my concern would be the amount of money available in some of these countries for any type of photo. A couple of years ago I witnessed a crew from a mining operation in Southern Africa pooling their money to buy one throw-away camera so that each man could get one picture. It may be a while before their purchases become significant.

Ron,

You are right and I couldn't agree more.

And i am sure that even the move to digital in the developed countries will take years, if not a decade before it make a differnce in the picture.

I still own and use my 35mm and much prefer its output to whatever digital gives me.

CC
