I know that the IBD method of cup and handle is on a longer term patterns and the cup typically needs to have several weeks/months to form. That does not mean it cannot work on a shorter intraday timeframe. Just like trend lines, flags, pennants, triangles etc work on all sort of timeframes. Of course the longer the time frame the bigger is the resulting move. Thanks for attempting to educate me. I dont like to get in arguments where people need to get nasty, so let's drop this issue. Peace
