Did you buy/sell/short/trade anything today? Where do you think we're going in next six months? What are your recos for people less than retired -- oh, say, ages 35-55? TIA, 'b-i-a' ###

Joshua: It's never a good idea to discuss your portfolio with bonnuss, for the following reasons: 1. She will use any of your picks that are performing poorly in this market to ridicule you and impugn your intelligence. 2. Ditto any particular strategy you may follow that isn't working at the moment. 3. She will immediately rush out and buy (loudly or in secret, depending on the outcome) any good picks you have, eventually find a way to lose money on them, and then castigate you mercilessly. 4. If by some fluke she does make money, and keep it, on one of your picks, eventually she will still castigate you mercilessly, but for some other reason: i.e., being a sexist, being a controlling male, renting but not owning, being 43 years old (pick any age, really), having no job (or having a job, whichever is the case), being divorced, or having a wonderful family, etc., etc., etc. The best thing to do is to volunteer as little information as possible about anything.
