IIA sentiment is around 55% Bulls, 29% Bears.

I can remember maybe 5 times in the past 5 years that I've been tracking the numbers as a contrary indicator for IT direction of the indices that it has been at those levels. It's extreme.

Each time we got to those levels a substantial downturn ensued. Yet, here we are at the bottom(?)of a vicious downtrend and the sentiment is full-fledge bullish. Historically, we should be around 35% Bulls and 45% Bears for a meaningful bottom to occur.

Makes me suspicious of the price and volume signal that otherwise looks so compelling for an IT turn to the upside.
