yeah, AUDC dropped in sympathy with NMSS. The assumption is that what goes on at NMSS must go on at AUDC. This may be true as the biggest customer of both companies is clarent. CLRN was 17% of AUDC business last Q and 12% of NMSS last Q. THis Q, NMSS said in their conference call apology yesterday that there was no 10% customer so orders from CLRN fell sharply for NMSS. However, NMSS also said they saw weakness throughout their business and weren't putting the blame on anything specific. They did say that VoDSL was weak due to weak CLEC orders which is not a concern of AUDC. In any case, AUDC seems to be a much more focused company in the sweet spot of an emerging market, not exactly the case for NMSS. I also like AUDC associations with TXN and MOT: little guy is attracting attention. I think CSCO is also a significant customer. So AUDC has now been trashed. If it's unfairly, this stock will rebound to 40$ soon. If fairly, we'll probably stagnate around 8-12$ for sometime but not too long. So that's my take. Hope it helps. Trilobyte p.s. bought AUDC today at 10 9/16... nearly caught the day low!! Hopefully, 12$ will hold. p.s.s. 2 weeks ago, the CFO of AUDC was still comfortable with the Q. This may have changed now, though. p.s.s. who's this Voltaire guy you're hanging out with? he doesn't make much sense with his subliminal illuminations. Hope he's not loosing too much money for you guys with his prognostications...
