David reminds me of people in academia who talk all day about theories but never seem to "get it". David, the mistake you make, in my opinion, is that you state your feelings as fact when, if fact, they are your opinions. That's a big error around here because people are able to go back and reprint your predictions. Each of us has made good choices and bad choices in the market. I know I have. And I always welcome opposing opinions. Just don't talk down to people and don't treat your opinions as the only valid choices. For you to call this market a "bear rally" shows, in my humble opinion, ignorance of what drives the stock market. I think that we will see a sustained short term rally based upon a number of factors including Greenspan's new bias, government economic figures as they are reported, investor sentiment over the finality of the election and perhaps most importantly an oversold market with realistic valuations. This is my opinion and we'll see what happens. I wish you and everyone the best of luck in your investments. We don't have to agree but we also don't have to hope for anything but the best for all.
