Apple Computer (AAPL) 17 +5/16 halted: -- Update -- Company cites lower than expected channel sell-through across all geographies and unplanned sales promotions and pricing actions. AAPL had expected about $1.6 billion in revenue this quarter.

Apple Computer (AAPL) 17 +5/16 halted: -- Update -- Company warns that Q1 revenues and earnings will be substantially below expectations. AAPL expects to report revenue of about $1 bln and a net loss, excluding investment gains, of between $225 and $250 mln. Current consensus mean estimate from Zacks calls for a $0.12 per share profit.

Sorry. I'm on the December QQQ "wash-sale" rag these days, if you know what I mean. Having to resort to slow movers breaking out of patterns.....RBK, EMR and others, with UPS to come...trying to keep active, make money and avoid the crown jewell....QQQ
