.<< I think there is a very strong possibility that this whole thing will solidify the more conservative liberals and the more liberal conservatives>>

That would be a hell of an accomplishment...perhaps the prelude to a true INDEPENDENT party? but I said third party's can't make it.

Still, a great concept...if nothing else perhaps we could keep the two parties and their respect fringe elements at bay and the people in the middle could actually accomplish something and end the gridlock.

I do believe, just a guess now, that the liberal conservatives and the conservative liberals just might make up a slight majority of the Senate. I can't speak for the House(too many people there<g>).

I don't like calling anyone Nazi unless they are one. I don't have any family members who died in concentration camps but I still think what happened was horrible. I think the murder of one person is horrible, and in one sense the murder of millions is just the murder of millions of individuals, but what is so horrible about this type of genocide is that it is the state murdering its own citizens. Analogous situations include the genocide in Russia by Stalin, and the genocide in Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge.

I think the point which is being made here is that statists, aka collectivists, commited genocide in the 20th century. It's not individualists. People who say the Nazis were right wing are wrong. They were hard left, but allowed ownership of private property.

Gore is a statist, someone who believes in a strong government. But of course he hasn't put people into concentration camps. He's just a scary guy because if he thought it was a good thing, he probably would. He's the type.
