Dan-- Apple is closing in on tangible book value, which tends to be a reasonable lower bound for stock prices (unless the company has a massive cash burn rate, bankruptcy is in the cards, and forced liquidation would yield less than tangible book.

Daniel:

Seems to me AAPL has about $11.00 in "cash and marketable security" value right now...Three or four dollars doesn't seem like a lot for the rest of the company...Should base at the $15 level...

Wonder if AMD'll be one of the few companies, once again this quarter, that doesn't have to warn...AMD's stock price of $15-3/4's does seem to be suggesting a return to negative earnings for AMD in Q4 and an impending AMD warning...
