techreports,

Yahoo or a Dell is not a gorilla, their earnings will effect ALL gorillas in the short term.

Maybe the stocks, but not the companies.

techreports,

You wrote in two separate posts today:

this is by no means the end to this bear market and
i don't make short term predictions.

You don't think those two comments contradict each other?

tr,

<< Yes i know this and i was just making the point that just cause we're up over 270+ points in one day that it doesn't mean this is the end of the bear market. Just pointing that out. That said, i don't make short term predictions. I don't know how and according to Buffet...it's almost impossible. >>

Well spoketh! 100% Well spoketh!

I looked at my watch list of 30 stocks (not in my port). Only one (MDT) was a shade red today. It is not a tech, so not a gorilla or king candidate but a solid performer all year.

On balance though, Gorillas & Kings significantly outperformed the Nasdaq today. I think there is a lesson in that.

I personally do not think the Tech Bear is over, and several things have to happen before it is. that is JMO.

Sure is an evening to celebrate however.

I am not worried about tomorrow, because I am very confident about the tomorrows after tomorrow.

Best,

- Eric -
