PW, what are your opinions on the following?

(a) When h/w makers get into price war and when semiconductor components are in a glut, MSFT benefits

(b) Windows2000 upgrade doesn't necessarily require h/w upgrade so only MSFT may benefit most.

(c) Apple's MACOS problem may mean Windows platform may be gaining in traditional apple domains like schools and desktop publishing.

(d) As nasdaq, DOW surge higher, consumer confidance increases and there will be more sales at retail stores.

Let me know what you think
