I just asked JDN that question on the Bush thread because he is a lawyer who lives in Florida.

Mason - Re: "I would hope that either the Florida Legislature would step in..."

Lets assume that the Florida Legislature (Republican) acts on what they assert is the authority of the US Constitution or whatever, to overturn the voting results and certify a slate of Bush electors that must be accepted by Congress.

Now lets assume that the Tennessee Legislature (Democratic) is listening to this and says, gee, that sounds like a good idea and certifies a slate of electors for Bush.

Question: Will you accept that result ??
