Terry, I guess none of us outside the halls of power really know about these personal things; but I have heard talk and read in print criticism of Greenspan post 92 election for not helping Bush Sr. when he had the chance. And I don't remember the "depressed" stock market being much of an issue before this recent election; after all we had just had a pretty good "buy the dip" summer rally. Another thing I learned years ago about the structure and social nature of originisations; those at the bottom and those in the ranks have no idea what moves, antimates and propels those at the top (they may THINK they do) but those at the top, the sucessful ones anyway are VERY GOOD at understanding (and motivating) those below.
