Looks like WCOM has lit up. I have invested in MCOM and a company called 1Source Mobile Internet (Ticker:OSTK), www.1smi.com. They are selling the Ricochet wireless modem but for WorldCom not Metricom.

I have seen commercials in Atlanta for Ricochet for both OSTK and MCOM. Looks like they are both getting aggressive with marketing.

Could benefit MCOM quickly if WCOM is selling now!

Sherman, heard that WCOM will be selling Ricochet at $49.99 after Jan 1st. Not sure why they need to price it this low, since other resellers are between $70.00 and $90.00.
Eventually Ricochet will be offered as part of a "bundle,"
(eg. local, long distance, dedicated Internet, web hosting etc. for X$ per month).

The big announcement I'm waiting for is XO Communications (XOXO). The are presently testing Ricochet in San Diego. XO will be a VERY important reseller(on par with WorldCom)
because of their large direct sales force and ties with McCaw and Nextel. Will give WCOM a run for their money.

Charlie R.
