Steve,

I really don't know about the safety of any spread in an arbitrage situation. You need to evaluate three scenarios IMO:

1) The deal goes sour
2) You are assigned before the deal consummates, perhaps stretched out for 8 to 12 months
3) The terms of the deal change

Regards,

Dave

Steve GTS,

I was checking for contract adjustments and noticed this.

1888options.com

If you read the special risks section I think that you will find the reasons for what at first appeared to be incorrectly priced
options. The CBOE site does not appear to have this information. Remember that the markets are too efficient to offer such a gift.

Regards,

Ken
