<<<Versus hypsters who press people to buy MSFT at 120 and then disappear on the way down to 60? Who does the greater disservice to the readers? >>>

Hypsters?? That's odd, other than johnd's wishful thinking, I don't see anything out of the ordinary as far as posters pushing MSFT stock. This is a MSFT thread and it isn't too far fetched that posters are making a case for buying or selling MSFT based upon the fundamental outlook for the company.

However, the derelicts that I refer to, are not here discussing the fundamentals. They are here purely to antagonize and promote their own biased hatred of MSFT as a company. I have to believe that in some cases, the pronounced negativity relates to the past and current success of MSFT against their own pet companies or related field of endeavor.

Isn't it strange, as one other poster commented the other day, that during the recent pummeling of tech stocks, the derelicts stopped posting? Was it because their own pocketbooks were being shredded and it no longer was fun to watch the softies being damaged?
