Assuming you are talking about Ashok Kumar's report: In the same report there was also mention of Intel writing off lower MHz parts to not hurt ASPs.

5M is not a large number given AMD had north of 6MU last year with hardly much Athlon shipments. I see a decent number of Duron design wins but the consumer demand, especially in the US, seems lousy. Asia seems to be doing better but it is not clear there is enough volume there. I guess the answer really depends on what the total demand in Q4 ends up being - is it 43M? 42? 41? 40? Lower?
