Probably, Gottfried. My guess is Bulls below 35% is the minimum for,

a major LT bottom.

It's been many years since the August 82 bottom let alone the Sept & Dec 74 bottoms. But if memory serves, Bullish sentiment got deep into the 20s (at least low 20s on one of em) before the bottoms were in on those Papa Bears<g>. 82' blew ole Iso outta the brokerage biz. Talk about fear? Customers wouldn't buy stocks for love or money, lol.

Doubt that this bear will be as severe as those 2 monsters. But getting Bullish sentiment down to 35% is a very reasonable target for a Bear Market of moderate severity.

Right now? This rally might be fun to play. And I've still got some long positions I want to sell into further strength. So as usual, will eschew predictions and just play it by ear.

Never a dull moment lately, lol.
