Well, maybe here's the difference. New Hampshire former governor, Meldrim Thomson, a bonafide rightwinger, helped to usher a change in the state's motto from "The Scenic State" to "Live Free or Die." Would I be too liberal so as to suggest a better motto might be "Live Together or Die?"
There can be no freedom until all men and women are free, and that won't happen until all men and women begin living together instead of apart. One of the reasons I dislike Bush so much is because he really is more of a "divider" than he is a "uniter."

By the way, I don't know if you noticed, but America didn't bring in its tired and huddled masses only to make them conservatives.

Finally, I find your statement that you'd accept Bush even though he didn't win either the popular vote or the electoral college vote appalling and I recommend that you reconsider your viewpoint there.
