He didn't have to take a poll. It is obvious. You are hate-filled and irrational and advertise both explicitly and by personification a vengeful, childish, vain god. To be attracted to the picture you represent one would have to be a guilt-ridden masochist, and to be intellectually convinced by your arguments one would have to be a fool. There are not so very many masochistic fools around here. He was making a safe assumption.

Solon's critiques of religion are based on logic, reason, and intellectual inquiry. The appeal of religion is visceral and emotional; anyone who would be swayed by reason would not be a believer in the first place. Your bitter, hostile, and judgmental posts have an immediate negative impact on precisely the grounds on which religion seeks to appeal. Hence I conclude that you do more damage to the Christian cause that any number of Solons. would that mean 2 of me does more harm than 2 dozen Solons Two of you is a prospect too awful to contemplate, even in the most hypothetical terms.
