<DJ, What does the "add money from umc" for $20 million mean in your #8963 post?> alsc sold some UMC shares (before going public)in 1997 or 1998 and was given this money after the merger of the UMC FABS I will update the spreadsheet on the weekend, but FYI todays moves added about $17M

(NASD:QLGC), Vitesse Semiconductor (NASD:VTSS), and Stryker Corp. (NYSE:SYK) will replace Polaroid Corp. (NYSE:PRD), Springs Industries Inc. (NYSE:SMI) and Russell Corp. (NYSE:RML) in the S&P 500 Index after the close of trading on Monday, December 11, 2000.
