All of this demonstrates nothing, except that people are much attached to their beliefs, and tend on the point of death to return to the beliefs with which they were raised. I'm sure that a devout Muslim could trot out any number of similar anecdotes; would that convince you that Allah is the real thing?

Several years ago a good friend of mine died of cancer. He was a very kind, gentle, and compassionate person, but in no way a believer. His last words were "I'm not afraid to die. I don't want to die, but I'm not afraid".

Does that convince you of anything, or are deathbed testimonies only relevant when they support your position?
