Looks like we get another buying opportunity today. I just heard on CNBC that CSFB (didn't hear the analyst name) just downgraded CPQ to Hold from Buy.

He said even though MC essentially reiterated last week he didn't believe him. @#$%ING IRRESPONSIBLE or what? Probably just giving his big block buyers a chance to get in without causing a real big pop in prices like the jump yesterday on low volume.

Just got back from a trip to Honduras - my annual trip working in an orphanage. I took out my short term holdings before I left - good thing. Excuse me if this question has been discussed, I hope to catch up on the postings, but is their any reason to believe that Compaq sales are down. Could Compaq just be out competing the market? This seems to be a good re-entry point. The election will be resolved within weeks and that should send the market back up too.
