>>I'm wondering how strong today's productivity numbers can be <<

Funny you ask, they just released the numbers this morning. 3Q productivity was up 3.3% ( Hedonically adjusted <g>)

Employment costs were up 2.9%, a bit hotter than expected.

Still the market must have liked it as the futures just went from down 1 1/2 on SP00s and down 25 on NDX to up 1/2 on SP00s and up 10 points NDX.

I am thinking a Don's day 2 scenario? Yesterday up big, today flat to slightly down then tomorrow up again?

Good Luck,

Lee
