Hello Bill. I guess I was right that this Fla stuff is still weighing on the markets. I watched this Seminole trial this morning. Ugh.

The NAS is doing a bit better today than is the DOW. Apple is also putting pressure on the market. Most of those stocks are following Apple down. But I did hear this morning that it is time to bottom fish in that sector.

Thanks for the QCOM target. BTW. I mentioned NOKIA last night. The company mentioned 30 to 35% growth over the next 3 yrs, not 25 to 35. This looks like a nice place to park some money for a while, if there IS such a thing. gg.

Now to the "don't fix it if it ain't broke" statement.
I kept saying this during all those rate hikes. Now that the FED did break it imo (at least with the last sev. rate hikes), they better fix it if we want a soft landing. I still have no idea why we needed a landing at all. But again: I don't get those big bucks.

I listened to Gore yesterday. He does not believe in the polls, now that over 60% of the people say: Resign.
And when Bush was ahead in the popular vote, he casually mentioned with his stupid giggle: Well, we don't go by that in our Republic. We have Electors. But, of course, he is never wrong because he always goes with what's good for him.
This Seminole stuff. The guy, who brought the suit, talked to a Gore adviser 12 days before he brought the suit. I heard that on Hardball. And when Chris Matthews interviewed him about a week ago, he denied having talked to Gore lawyers but under oath he mentioned that fact. No mention ever about this in the papers.
I just hope all this goes away soon so the markets can go up some. They have enough trouble without worrying about not having a President Elect a whole month after the elections. I guess he won't quit until he finds enough votes somewhere. We can all go broke by that time. I am sure the FLA Supreme Ct. will rule for him again. If not, I will be very surprised. I don't think that all those higher Courts looking over their shoulders, will deter that Court. I heard someone say last night that the FLA Legislator may pass a bill and put those Judges on the ballots every year. Only fair way in my judgement.

Got to get off here.

Sonny

PS. Sheesh. The DOW is down over 120 points. The NAS is hanging in there, considering that Intc and Dell is down a lot.
QCOM is doing great. You should be even pretty soon depending at what price you bought it. A little late for me to go into it again.
I had sold my EMLX at 160 a cpl of weeks ago. This looks like a pretty good trading stock every time it goes down into the 120/130 range. But I am too chicken now. I am hoping for a rebound in WCOM one of these days.

BTW. There is talk around that AOL may get the go ahead next week. Msft is trying hard to have a say in this deal now. I guess they don't have enough on their slate with their case.
