these countries are not really making our markets, do they? I don't think it wil;l in the upcoming month or even 1-2 years, and that is all I am concernd.

It is not "reality" but the perception of reality by speculators that determines prices.

We see the same phenomenon in the base metal markets where both copper and zinc have fallen in price despite continued inventory drawdowns. (I noticed a particular drop in zinc prices when Ford announced it would be using more aluminum in cars). No doubt when buoyant times are again expected, prices will recover.
