Tinkershaw, I E-mailed the link you posted, to Mark at Avanex. I am still confused about the whole switching thing. Interesting point you make, I should E-mail your comments, as well.

From the article you posted Both Cisco and Nortel claim they will have products based on lambda switching technology by next year. "Within 12 months we will see product," said Schilling. "We expect to demonstrate the lambda switching technology even earlier," said Nortel's Jamoussi.

Do you interpret this lambda switching tecnology to mean AVNX directly or all there others implied??
