I wasn't ignoring your question just ran out of time yesterday.

My new dilemma is trying to decide whom I am going to lay off and whether I can afford to keep all my guys through Christmas or lay them off now, which I really don't want to do. It is the slowest we have been in 7 years. Bummer.

As to the tax question I guess it is just gut feel that I and most everyone is over taxed. Perhaps it is the feel that such a large share is eaten up and wasted by the machine in DC. Or the out of control property taxes here that make me pay the governor $330 per month for the right to live in my home.

I would suspect if the tax tables and spending at the government level were turned back to the late 50's level we wouldn't need 2 income family's as 1 check would afford you a life style most could live with. Then perhaps our children wouldn't be in auto pilot so much and the troubles would likely be less.

But these are all just gut feel kinds of things.
