If she rules in favor of the plaintiff, the remedy that was suggested by the plaintiff was to throw out every one of the 15,000 absentee ballots cast in Seminole Co. That includes the democrat ballots. While it would reduce Gore's numbers, it would disproportionately reduce Bush's numbers to a greater extent. This would throw the popular vote total in Florida to Gore (giving him the EC electors).

In the end not much.

Even if she finds for the plaintiff, and applies the remedy they seek (which i doubt btw)

The florida courts have long held that "They will not be bound by hyper-technical interpretations of the law in election cases"

Also, the relief would would be to punish the voter, not the actions of an election official. again according to the supreme court of Fl "The constitution eschews punishment by proxy".

These quotes are gleened from the recent FL supreme court case, which are really derived from previous cases and the FL constitution.
