I saw the video referred to. A bunch of old, bald Republican guys waving their Zocor bottles at a locked door. That really must have put a scare into the canvassing committee! Perhaps, instead, the transparent knowledge that they were breaking the law by having that door closed-and on TV, no less-influenced their decision to some extent.

Re. the Southern Baptist politicians, it could just be that politically ambitious fellows in the South, simply pick the biggest denomination around to join up with.
