Once I feel a stocks is ready to breakout I just buy, but sure I like to get deal like anyone else would. But, I do feel a lot of gain is lost by trying to time to the nth degree. So, many times it's best to just buy and not worry about it too much. I see a lot of over intellectualizing in how people view the market, I feel that's wrong and leads to more trading then should be done when many traders don't know how to handle it, and should in fact be investors. It's very easy for humans to trick themselves into 20/20 hindsight, as in I wish I would of done that type of trading.
