Hi John:

Zakin the CEO of WMUX was executive VP at US Robotics
and played a major role in their acquisition of Palm.
So, he is very good. ADAP has an interesting time division
duplex point to multipoint system for MMDS or UNII
transmission. But it is using an ATM protocol instead
of DOCSIS. It has not set the world on fire, at least
with Sprint or WCOM. Most orders for ADAP's system
have been placed by emerging (and possibly soon
submerging) wireless ISPs. It has also some European
orders. Surprisingly, CSCO's VOFDM system has
also had difficulties finding acceptance. Sprint
and WCOM seem to have selected more conservative
MMDS systems.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
