Sure I would question it, just like the buyers of IBM equipment in years gone by undoubtedly 'questioned' all the new server guys on the block. Or just like customers questioned EMC when IBM owned the 'big iron' DASD space. It won't happen overnight, but it could happen. Also, since Dell's stock is already in the tank, it probably would not get hit much worse if they said we are going to spend big to attack the enterprise space. Last I looked Dell had 8 billion in cash.
