Gary,

When the fed actually lowers rates (rather than just going to a neutral or lowering bias) I will go out and collect cans to get extra money to invest. Historically, after a fed easing cycle begins the market goes up 20% in the next 12 months, even though earnings typically don't bottom until 3-6 months after the easings begin.

When the fed starts to ease this decline will be over regardless of what happens to profits in the short run. I just hope I can survive the margin calls until that day comes.
