Good day nostarch.

Oops !! My comment may have again been misleading\misinterpretted.

Please do understand that I am NOT stating that there WILL be 4 wells per section under 640 acre spacing. I'm just trying to say that the option always exists to segregate the various productive zones and to drill and complete one well per zone per spacing unit. That would of course result in a needless waste of capital IF under good engineering practice multiple zones can be commingled in the wells and the desired pool depletion rate attained.

Small pressure differentials between zones would not normally preclude commingling. Large differentials or differing fluid contents probably would. Well productivity constraints resulting from the commingling of prolific zones may also lead to zone segregation (or the need to complete with >3-1/2" production tubing).

Only the passage of time will reveal the best method for the JV to exploit these massive reserves. But do rest assured that the JV is very aware of the time value of money. Sometimes it may not appear to us that they are, but I think that is because we just don't fully understand the numerous issues and complexities that they are dealing with. As they used to say in the patch (before the phrase male chauvinist pig became commonplace) .... Hey, if it was easy w__men could do it !!!

Have a good one.

Later,
