LOL.. just don't tell me what stocks you'r long on and I will make sure I don't short them... hehehehe... I definitely will never be the kind of short who tries to slam a stock.. The only reason I would short would be as a technical play or because of a downtrend in the market or the stock itself.. I exited all longs this morning.. unfortunately, I did it about ten minutes into the day because things started moving down... I missed the morning rally totally and was bummed, so I took the rest of the day off ... You can imagine that I felt better being in cash when I finally got home and saw what happened this afternoon.. I am a bull by nature and I just think its much easier playing the long side.. and I like owning something.. I like the idea of writing covered calls on my long positions too.. but we need more stability in the market before I will start doing this strategy. right now I am just playing swing trades ans scalping. this market is treacherous.... rok
