SSB has had an agenda since the summer and it's been to paint as dark a picture as they can. The words "worst quarter in a decade" imply, to me, something like Apple has announced, expecting to miss revenues by 600 million out of 1,600 million. Now that's a worst, worst, worst. I agree that things have slowed down, but "worst in a decade" is a huge overstatement compared with anything Intel announces, unless Barrett has Alzheimer's. SSB is the worst.

BTW, I think Apple is in a final death spiral because there is no demand anymore for an underpowered, not cheap platform that is always the last to get new software, if it gets it at all. What gets me is why they are using a losing architecture, low technology company for any comparisons at all with companies that are going to be here and strong for the foreseeable future.

Gary, <May be they are prediction no sequential growth, would that be the worst in a decade growth wise>

Nice of these analysts to avoid giving specifics, eh? What weasels.
