Intel's biggest customer, Compaq, has said twice when challenged this year, including last week, that they are comfortable with channel and other inventories. They have a new CEO and a new CFO (as of 1 1/2 years ago) that seriously know what they are doing. As for the other big PC makers, Dell, IBM and HP, not sure. I think Gateway said they see an inventory problem. I haven't gotten to Q1 yet mentally. Have to start thinnking about it for sure.
