OT - Last call??? The savvy mob has been piling into the financials, including the subprime lenders lately. Just now, that killjoy Bank of America has warned - citing "CONTINUING DETERIORATION IN CREDIT QUALITY". What a shock!?!?!? www2.marketwatch.com This is the same BAC that was reportedly a large and regular customer at the Fed's discount window in the fall of '98, playing what IMO was a large part in Greenspan's decision to let rip with the surprise rate cut just before futures expirations. Is there no shame?? Well, there certainly is no tolerance for pain anymore these days. Has the "creative destruction" aspect of our capitalist system been eradicated by public demand. Subprime lenders COF, HI and PVN which have previously been mentioned on the board as possible short target do look interesting (I have completed my positions this morning). patron_anejo_por_favor, are you still out there??
