Ali: The only one thing that bothers me is the quality of the ISON published materials - no data, no numbers, just blurb - somebody "modelled" and "told" them... Pretty sad.

They seem to have two "real" papers:

1) Applied Physics Letters, Vol 71, No 15, p.2109 (1997)

2) "In a forthcoming issue of Solid State Communications (vol. 115), a group from Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany, reports a substantial enhancement of the thermal conductivity in a bulk silicon crystal made from only one isotope (28Si)" (http://www.mpg.de/news00/news11_00.htm)

No data on working chips, though.
