This couldn't have been about OUR Kimba?

Kimba Wood
Kimba Wood is a doleful place,
Of fallen trees and spiders' lace.
Its darkness is filled with crawly things
That devour those whom misfortune brings.

Light never enters into Kimba Wood.
What air there is would escape if it could.
Handsome when seen from above or afar,
No passing bird would ever land there.

At its heart is the Dolinger Swamp,
Whose vapors add to Kimba Wood's damp.
Its sulphurous stench fouls the air,
And burns all those who find themselves there.

So never enter that cursed forest,
Filled with darkness and frightful horrors.
For Kimba Wood is a doleful place,
Of fallen trees and spiders' lace.
