There are just too many gadgets and computers out there...my spending power is not dimished this season, but I am not buying any of the crap...I have a P3 450 notebook that works just great for monetizing shareholdr ingnorance, will get a couple of balls out desktops with flat screens early next year during the price war. I don't need apples, visorsm palm pilots, or any of that other shit and I have enough damn tv's. Wish I could just get a playstation 2 without paying over retail -ggg

So my point is, not only is consumer spending diminshed, but the market may just be saturated for all these new gadgets. I get a new cell phone once or twice a year, but I use my sprint insurance plan, which for $3.00 a month gives me 2 replacements per year.
