Actually, I think that Greenberg is wrong. Those research project (for which CREE is being paid from its own money invested in those companies) would not be carried out without those investments. It is a way to do R&D off the books, and it is completely legal. In the meanwhile BRCM just went out at $166.25, not even $2. JDSU just went out at $65-7/8, covering the $.5 loss from earlier and pocketing $7/8 in gain. Still leaving QCOM in from the last spree. Zeev
