It is really amazing what these analyst get away with.
I wonder if they are buying/selling for their own accounts.

>>Salomon Smith Barney's Intel call - "shaping up to be the worst in over a decade"
If not true, Intel should sue them for slander.

It may not be slander because they may have an economic interest, which is a defense. It MAY BE a securities violation, or a number of other violations but since you are such an attorney basher, you have made it practically impossible to sue a bank, which is somewhat unfortunate because in another year, all major brokerage houses will be owned by or be banks.

Mine too.

Every year I've had a positive return on my portfolio since I started investing in 1990. However, this year, as of today, my ytd is -17.8%, due to INTC's performance.

So, this year could be a first-time-ever negative return. It's my worst $ year in a decade. But I'm glad I didn't miss the past ten years of high-tech investing.

Currently, I'm focusing on the number of shares I own and since that number won't change, it doesn't really matter if INTC drops, since INTC will eventually bounce back up and grow over the long-term.

I just wish I had cash so I could buy some INTC at these incredibly good prices.

Regards,
Amy J
